Erindale
Secondary School opened its doors in 1967. From the very beginning
the community has supported and helped maintain strong traditions
in academics, athletics and the arts. Through the positive,
supportive attitudes of the community Erindale has continued
to be a good place for students to grow and learn. Although
our focus is on education students can also enjoy participating
on a wide variety of teams. Our long list of athletic achievements
and championships illustrates the pride that our students
demonstrate when they are participating in athletics. Drama,
music and visual arts also play an important role in student
development. Over the years Erindale has been the site of
many excellent stage productions, arts nights and music nights.
Our school council and our student community outreach groups
work hand in hand with the school staff to ensure that Erindale
maintains its place as a leader in education within the Region
of Peel.
